羅思義簡介：
前英國倫敦經濟與商業政策署署長（相當于北京市副市長）、中國人民大學重陽金融研究院高級研究員 2013年至今任中國人民大學重陽金融研究院高級研究員。2009年-2012年任上海交通大學客座教授。2000年-2008年任英國倫敦經濟與商業政策署署長（相當于北京市副市長）。八九十年代曾先後在法國巴黎、德國法蘭克福、俄羅斯莫斯科等多家公司任職。 20多年以來，羅思義發表了大量關于中國與全球經濟的研究文章與著述，包括：《鄧小平與凱恩斯》（2012）、《為何亞當·斯密的“經典理論”能夠解釋亞洲的經濟增長》（2011）、《俄羅斯國家财政危機的基礎》（1997）、《單一歐洲貨币的基礎性經濟影響》（1996）等。此外，還長期在新浪财經“意見領袖”欄目及《中國金融》、英國《衛報》、《今日中國》、《環球時報》等媒體上發表關于全球及中國經濟的評論文章。最新力作《一盤大棋？——中國新命運解析》于2016年4月出版，用翔實的數據、全新的視角，以中美大數據的真實對比，透視中國大時代經濟變革的隐秘真相。 早在與中國有任何接觸之前，羅思義就于1992年撰文《為什麼中國的經濟改革會成功，而俄羅斯東歐會失敗》。他在文中預言俄羅斯經濟必将崩潰，中國經濟必将成功。由于羅思義的準确預測，多家跨國咨詢公司聘請他作宏觀經濟運行研究。直到2004年，他才第一次踏上中國的領土。他比很多中國人對中國更有信心：“中國最遲将于2025年成為‘高收入’經濟體，即按照國際标準進入小康社會。将在2030-35年間成為世界上最大的同時也是最強的經濟體”。羅思義的新作《一盤大棋？——中國新命運解析》探讨了中國如何從最大的經濟體躍升至最強的經濟體。
John Ross Former Director of the Department of Economic and Business Policy of London, Senior Fellow of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) John Ross is the Senior Fellow of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY) since 2013. He was the Visiting Professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University from 2009 to 2012, and Director of the Department of Economic and Business Policy of London from 2000 to 2008. He lived in Moscow 1992-2000, Frankfurt (1980) and Paris 1980-1983 as the consultant to multinational companies. John Ross is the author of numerous analyses of both China’s and the global economy over a more than 20 year period including: Deng Xiaoping and John Maynard Keynes (2012), Why Adam Smith’s ‘classical theory’ correctly explained Asia’s growth (2011), Foundations of the financial crisis of the Russian state (1997), Fundamental economic implications of a single European currency (1996), Why the Economic Reform Will Succeed in China and Fail in Russia and Eastern Europe (1992). He is also frequent analyst of the global and Chinese economies in the news media such as the Sina Finance ‘Opinion Leaders’, China Finance, the Guardian, China Today, Global Times etc. His new book The Great Game: A New Perspective on China's Destiny was published in April, 2016 and got a high sales ranking of book in various bookstores, with the positive comments as well.
