内容簡介
Considering the continuing slowdown of the improvement in energy intensity all around the world, it is essential to seek for a more effective measure to get rid of dilemma between energy and sustainable development. To this end, this research attempts to provide a fresh insight into the determinants of energy intensity from the perspective of industrial robots and an industry-based view. By applying the dynamic panel GMM estimate technology to a new balanced 38 countries with 17 manufacturing sectors panel data, this paper provides the first comprehensive assessment of industrial robots on manufacturing energy intensity. We find that industrial robots can significantly improve the manufacturing energy intensity. Moreover, this effect works through technology improvement effect and complement effect between industrial robots and labor. Finally, there exists heterogenous nexus between industrial robots and manufacturing energy intensity. Specifically, industrial robots can exert influence on the non-renewable energy intensity instead of renewable energy intensity. And comparing to capital-intensive sectors, industrial robots mainly affect labour-intensive sectors. We also reveal the fact that Industry 4.0 can promote the improvement effect of industrial robots on manufacturing energy intensity.
主講人簡介
李建強，男，1972年1月生，南昌大學經濟管理學院特聘教授（傑出人才）, 博士生導師。曾任台灣中山大學管理學院終身特聘教授, 擔任國際知名學術期刊Energy Economics (SSCI) 副主編，Energy Journal (SSCI) 國際編輯，Applied Economics (SSCI) 副主編，Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (SSCI) 領域主編, Energy Research Letters 及Asian Economics Letters 主編等。
主要研究方向為能源經濟及能源金融, 研究具有交叉學科特色, 在全球知名經濟學研究數據庫RePEc發布的全球經濟學家排名位居亞洲前1%，中國經濟學家第8位, 在國際具有重要學術地位, 學術貢獻獲得國際認可。在能源經濟領域權威期刊Energy Economics以第一作者或通訊作者發表超過18篇論文，相關研究被國内外同行引用12608餘次, H-index 55, 發表在經濟管理類權威期刊包括Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of International Money and Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Journal of Futures Markets, Energy Policy, Energy Journal, Resource and Energy Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy, Applied Energy等200餘篇。作為負責人承擔台灣科技主管部門研究項目超過20項, 榮獲台灣科技主管部門優秀年輕學者、台灣科技主管部門獎勵特殊優秀人才、台灣呂鳳章先生紀念獎章。榮獲江西省“雙千計劃”創新領軍人才項目，江西省高層次專業技術人才, 2020韓國金融學會成果獎AJFS Mirae Asset Best Paper Award, 2020 年國際工程協會（ITEI）會士，馬奎斯世界名人錄終身成就獎等。
